Who are ASHE London?

Hello! We’re the UK’s first luxury vegan nail varnish subscription box. We believe beauty should do more than make us look good – 10% of our profits go to good causes. Our formula is not only ultra long-lasting but is 74% plant origin, vegan and cruelty-free. To find out more about our story, go here.

How do you pronounce the ‘ASHE’ part of ‘ASHE London’?

Good question. It’s pronounced ‘A-shay’ (rhymes with ‘sashay’). Our founder is half Nigerian, and called Ash – our name is inspired by the Yoruba word ‘àṣẹ’, a West African concept roughly translating as the power to make things happen and create change.

What are my subscription options?

You can choose from three types of subscription:
1. Bi-monthly – continues until you cancel
2. 6 months – paid in full upfront at the start of your subscription, and auto-renews, unless you cancel.
3. 12 months – paid in full upfront at the start of your subscription, and auto-renews, unless you cancel.

How does a subscription work?

With all three subscription options, you’ll get your carefully-curated colour pairing of two nail varnishes every two months for as long as your subscription lasts. Boxes are sent out in September, November, January, March, May and July – we call these ‘box months’. Your subscription will be delivered to your door in a luxe, recyclable ASHE London box.

When do I pay for my subscription?

The cost of a bi-monthly box is £28 every two months, until you cancel. Payment for your first bi-monthly box is taken when you sign up. You’ll then be sent the current ASHE box.
Subsequent payments will be taken on the first working day of every ‘box month’ (September, November, January, March, May and July). So for example, if you sign up on 15 August, payment will be taken on 15 August and you’ll be sent July’s box within seven working days. You’ll then pay your next instalment on 1 September and every ‘box month’ thereafter.

6 and 12 month auto-renewable subscriptions are paid for upfront at the point of purchase, so £79 for a 6 month subscription and £151 for the 12 month option.

When will the direct debit leave my account?

Bi-monthly subscription payments are taken on the first working day of every other month, starting with the ‘box month’ following on from your first order payment.

Any hidden fees?

Nope – you’ll pay £28 every other month for a bi-monthly box subscription, a one-off payment of £79 for a 6 month subscription or £151 for an annual box. Remember, the 6 and 12 month subscriptions auto renew, so make sure you cancel if you no longer want your box. If you shop any of our nail colours individually, you’ll need to pay a small delivery charge.

When will I receive my first box?

You’ll be sent the current ASHE box within seven working days of subscribing. Thereafter, boxes are sent out on the seventh of every ‘box month’ and will arrive 2-5 working days later. Please note, orders made during any pandemic situation may take a little longer to reach you.

How can I end my subscription?

You can pause, cancel or make changes to your bi-monthly subscription any time – just go to your account and update your subscription preferences. Please make sure you do this by the 27th of the month before your next box is due to be sent to you. 6 and 12-month auto-renewable subscriptions are paid for in full at the time of your initial order. You won’t pay anything else until all of your subscription’s boxes have been delivered. After your selected duration, if you don’t opt out your subscription will be renewed for another 6 or 12 months (depending on your initial order) on the first working day of the following month. To opt out at the end of your subscription just go to your account and update your subscription details before the 27th of the month preceding the one you want to cancel. Do you test your products on animals?

Never – we are strongly against animal testing. All of our products are 100% cruelty-free, vegan and made in a state-of-the-art, eco-friendly and officially approved site in the EU.

Where do you deliver?

At the moment we deliver to anywhere in mainland UK, but we’re working on expanding – please bear with us!

What if I want a nail colour from a previous box?

Once an ASHE box has been sent out, we’ll drop both of the new nail colours on our website for individual sale the following ‘box month’. We’ll also be releasing exclusive limited-edition nail colours on our website throughout the year.

Can I change my delivery address

You can do this in your account at any time or drop us an email us at hello@ashelondon.com and we’ll amend it for you. You’ll just need to make sure you update your address by the 27th of the month before your next box is due to be sent to you. So for example, if you move house on 15 September, you’ll need to let us know the change before the 27 October for your box to go to your new address.

Can I return my subscription box?

Sorry, we are only able to refund completely unopened ASHE boxes, but we will happily replace or refund any damaged or faulty items. For more information about returns, please go to our shipping and returns page here.

Yes you can! Browse our growing collection in our shop here. We’ll also be releasing exclusive limited-edition nail colours on our website throughout the year. Everything you buy in our shop will be delivered to your door in luxe, recyclable ASHE London packaging.

Do you do gift options?

Aren’t you generous? Yes we do:
1. You can shop our gift vouchers in the amount of your choosing here.
2. To send someone a gift subscription, please write ‘This is a gift’ in the Notes box at checkout, along with your gift message. We’ll then avoid sending any invoices and also make sure the subscription doesn’t auto renew if it’s a 6 or 12 month box –unless you tell us to.
3. You can send as many individual nail colours as you like as gifts. Shop the collection here – just tell us at checkout in the Notes box, and let us know your gift message, and we’ll leave out any invoice information.
